When you come in for notary services, please remember to have with you:
- Your completed documents (Do not sign them until you’re in front of the notary)
- A valid, government-issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license, state ID, or passport) for each person there to sign or witness the document being signed.
Document notarization means that you have your document certified by a notary public. The job of a notary public is to verify the identities of all signing parties, witness the signatures, and put an official stamp on the document. Notaries do not provide legal advice or interpret the documents.
